I need to submit an app to an Apple store, which I did as a freelancer for a company. The app features photos and descriptions of the company and its customers.
I was told that I need to send, along with the app, an authorization from the company. Does anyone know the model of this authorization? Do you know if I have to be in charge the moment the app is submitted, by fax or something?
In addition to the apple rule say: "Apps may not use protected third party material such as trademarks, copyrights, Patents or violate 3rd party Terms of use. Authorization to use such material must be provided upon request"
I spoke to a person who had to send an authorization, but no longer has access to it and does not remember.
I still don’t know what to think about this question. We are discussing what is part of our focus on http://meta.pt.stackoverflow.com/questions/264/quais-assuntos-devem-fazer-do-nosso-foco-on-topic. It does not seem to fit into any of the proposed items. But maybe it’s only because a case like this hadn’t come up yet. Anyone with minimal reputation can propose bureaucratic questions about software development and vote on all items agreeing or disagreeing.

The simplest solution would be for the company to have an account for her. If in the future the company needs to change the application and you can not do, how it is?
– epx
I think this would not be the simplest solution since creating a company account is much more complicated. And that’s not the case, the account is individual and I need to know the model to send the apple with the authorization of the company.

@bigown, that borders on a legal question, doesn’t it? If so, I think it has been agreed that it is outside the scope...
– LuizAngioletti
It’s perfectly legal that kind of thing, I just need the company’s permission. I think the subject falls more into question when submitting apps to apple store.
– rdprado
I believe it is valid, because it is directly related to programming for mobile devices. The process would be to program, test and deploy in the Appstore, and this question refers to this last step.

Apple’s rule says "upon request", meaning they will ask for authorization if necessary (and probably indicate a model, or else the model is not important).
– bfavaretto
@bfavaretto, I was afraid the app would be rejected if I didn’t send it and, as I have little time, I wondered if anyone had done it before starting the process of sending. Thank you for the reply.
– rdprado
I answered based on what you said in the question, I never went through it. But it seems that no one here knows, I think you should consult Apple.

It would be very good to leave open this question because it is not programming, but it is about the application deploy for customers that without it does not make sense to program for iOS. And this question is very relevant. Shall we discuss it at the finish line? http://meta.pt.stackoverflow.com/questions/925/fechamento-devemos-ter-em-descontextualizada-outros-e-publicacao-em-app-stor

@rdprado you could post your "Edit" as the answer to the question, and even accept it as correct (since you did and worked)

@woliveirajr right, the question had been closed by the moderators, so I edited the question. Now we can put as an answer. Thank you.
