Python INPUT command trims in the OUTPUT tab

When I give an INPUT command it appears in the OUTPUT tab of the Terminal and because it is in the OUTPUT tab it does not allow me to type anything.

How do I make it appear in the TERMINAL tab...? I am using Ubuntu with VSCODE Thank you.

I’ve been through the same problem, has a way that works but is not ideal believe.

  1. Note that at the top of the VS has the tab 'DEBUG', click on it.

  2. Open a window with some possibilities, click on "RUN WITHOUT DEBUGINGG".

  3. After that your code will open on the terminal and will work.
