I was reading the reply of Maniero regarding software testing and had a point in the reply that left me with doubt, so I would like a more detailed explanation regarding.
The quote that left me doubtful was:
Just reinforce that think well on your architecture and test your implementation is critical.
The question is about the implementation test, I would like to know how this type of test is done and what is the purpose of it for application? I would also like to know what relationship this test has with the architecture of the application?
If possible put some example to facilitate the illustration.
I just want to say that the intention there was not to talk about the specific technique that uses this name :) So, although the doubt arose there I do not think it serves as a basis to answer, it is better to focus on the known methodology.
