Problem with Jformattedtextfield when component leaves focus it returns last valid number

I have a problem regarding Jformattedtextfield when I add the mask and type in a valid number after I delete and write nothing in the field.. but when the component leaves the focus it returns the last valid number.. Anyone has any suggestions to solve this?
