Recover DB from Xampp on OSX

I upgraded my Macbook and xampp no longer opened, so I downloaded the latest version of xampp, I was able to import my projects into the HTDOCS folder, but I can’t import the mysql folder into the "var" where APPARENTLY my DB is located.. downloaded XAMPP 7.3.12, some idea of how to import these banks from the other XAMPP that no longer opens??

I decided to install the installation version of xampp and not the VM version, so it installed on top and banks came back
