As Tkr Dragon said, Spacy needs 64-bit python, which obviously only works on 64-bit Sos.

For those who have a 32-bit OS and want the POS Tagger in Portuguese (like Spacy), search "Portuguese-POS-tagger" and find the GITHUB repository link of a POS project Tagger.

Use "git clone" and move the pickle file to your project folder.

The contents of the ". py" file must be copied to your Python file.

If you want a tokenizer, NLTK is a good solution.

Spacy is better and faster in terms of tagger, but for those who do not have a 64 bit system it is a very good solution what I recommended!

Dude, I stayed a long time to try to solve this and it’s very simple, uninstall the 32-bit python and install the 64-bit then just give the Pip install Spacy and it’s over I hope this helps you!

  • Unfortunately I found that my OS is classified as 32 bits, I discovered this after some searches, but I will mark the answer as correct for people who have computers with 64 bits OS can solve. Thank you!
