I’m doing my TCC monograph on Overleaf and I’m having trouble inserting the euro symbol (€) on a page. tex template that my college offers to develop the monograph.
Concluding: I wanted to rename €50,000 to €50,000

You can use the package eurosym.
\usepackage{eurosym}
...
The book is 10 \euro.
The book is \euro 10.
The book is \EUR{10}.
\textbf{The book is \EUR{10}.}
\textit{The book is \EUR{10}.}
If you are using UTF-8, you can easily declare:
\usepackage{eurosym}
\usepackage[utf8]{inputenc}
\DeclareUnicodeCharacter{20AC}{\euro}
Or if a different encoding is used, such as latin9:
\usepackage{eurosym}
\usepackage[latin9]{inputenc}
\let € = \euro
...

I believe that the simplest way is to declare the package and use its function, which already makes the adaptations for each type of coding:
\usepackage{eurosym}
...
\EUR{50.000}

In the Brazilian monograph, it is advisable to use € 50.000 or 50.000 € to describe the value?
I do not know how to inform this, you should consult the standard used. But in news and other, is usually used the € value.
