I have a label printer of the brand O Eal, this printer is connected in my network. I am accessing a remote connection from a server within my network. Inside the server I used the command net use \\NomeDoMeuPc\NomeDaImpressora to access the printer from inside the server. but when I use the print command, I have the return that the file was printed, but it just creates a new file with the name of the printer and in that file are the codes that should be printed.

Have you tried to map it to a server port? (Example LPT)

1 - Control Panel > Devices and Printers

2 - Right click on the device and go to printer properties (not only properties)

3 - Go to the sharing tab and mark the option to share this network printer and set a name in the field below.

Try to run the net use again but this time with the name you set in the share

net use lpt1 \\192.168.x.x\<Nome-do-compartilhamento>

  • Already yes, I have a return of error 67 (Network name not found)

  • Check printer sharing & #Xa;In Control Panel > Devices & Printers, right-click the device and go to printer properties (not only properties) goes in the sharing tab and marks the option share this network printer and set a name in the field below

  • Dude, I’m getting it, thank you very much for the help. I can print from my machine and from inside the server

  • You’re welcome :D
