Delay in publishing APP - Play store

Good morning, I’m in doubt about publishing my first public APP in the google store. I published on 15/08 and until today (20/08) the APP is still with status of 'Draft'. My impression is that this delay is not normal. Can anyone give me any tips? below follow prints from the store.

At first I thought it was normal, by the message being presented (image 3) "To protect users, a detailed review of the app will take a little longer. Learn more". But the delay is too much, is there something missing? Or I may have done something wrong?

  • I also have this doubt...

  • Finally, as I created a new account, I did not return to the topic. But in the new account the process occurred normally. I didn’t solve the mystery, but it should be some configuration in the old account.

Interesting your question, for me this serving as a warning because I was not aware of this change.

After a quick search I found some news this week, which basically says that Google is with a new policy of at least 3 days* review, and that this is only being reported because a game developer published on your blog the problem.
*Google updated the text on uses help page and now (13/09/2019) the text speaks in 7 days

Now on the page of Help from the Play Console, has the following observing

on 13/09/2019

Observing: in some developer accounts, the detailed review of apps will take a little longer, to better protect users. This may increase the review period to up to seven days (or more in exceptional cases). You will receive a notification on Dashboard of the app with the estimated duration of that process.

on 23/08/2019

Observing: In some developer accounts, a detailed review of apps will take a little longer to better protect users. You will receive a notification on Dashboard of the app with the estimated duration of that process. It is recommended to adjust the plan to include a minimum waiting period of three days between sending and publishing the app.

on 21/08/2019

Note: For Certain Developer Accounts, we’ll take more time to thoroughly review your app(s) to help Better Protect users. You’ll receive a notification on your app’s Dashboard about how long this should take. We recommend that you Adjust your Planning to include a buffer period of at least three days between submitting your app and going live.

Now looking at their image you can see that the length of time they speak:

Você receberá uma notificação no Painel do app com
 a duração estimada desse processo.

At the moment it’s still it will take a little longer.

Yes, I also saw some news about this 3-day delay. But after that, I’m starting to worry. Tomorrow closes a week of the publication date and my deadline is breaking. But thanks for your reply, I have the same vision as yours.

  • It seems that there is still no way to hasten this review, on apple has a way to ask priority (I don’t know how it works 'cause I never had to ask). That one it will take a little longer maybe it is an indication that it will take more than 3 days, the confusion might be caused because we are used to publishing instant, I think they should have put, "may take longer than X days". Maybe it’s worth it, after your app’s approved or refused, to let us know how long it took.

  • It seems to me that and its first app in Play Store, this may be the reason your review takes more than 3 days. -- This information may be irrelevant -- Apple until a while ago took +/- 7 days to approve an app, only now they were able to do a routine (or become less rigorous) to approve an app in 1 or 2 days, google may face the same problem in this new phase of the Play Store

    It really lacks a more objective communication of the store. The APP follows with the same status and warning. The deadline I had was today. When you publish, I’ll let you know;

  • Maybe it’s worth you getting in touch with them. Contact Google Play Support

Nothing yet. I sent some emails and I haven’t heard back yet. Now the event that was the APP proposal has passed. I had to make the apk available on another server. pqp

I gave up waiting for the post, created a new developer account, performed the same steps and published in the new account. In 2 days the APP was available in the store. I still do not know the reason, but must be some problem with the account.

if the status is "Draft" means that you have not submitted it for publication, there are still a few steps to go.
