I made an application I want to use the embedded Firebird, I follow all the steps of tips on the net, but on my machine works but when I send to another computer can not find the DLL.

I followed in the footsteps of of this tutorial, but the error persists. If I try to use the DLL fbembed.dll my system can’t find, I put a copy in the system32, in the SysWoW64 Windows and a copy where the executable, however did not work, I changed the name of the DLL to gds32.dll and the error persists.

  • Good luck! a question has big difference between pcs? type a 32 bits and the other 64? windows versions or something like, may be compatibility problem. but that’s just a kick, I don’t know anything about that subject

  • really i paid attention in this situation, are two computers 64, already tried tb with dll 32 and had the same problem...

After the Joanis Commented I decided to accept your idea: I deleted all DLL gds32.DLL, fbembed.dll I downloaded a clean version of Firebird-2.5.3.26778-0_Win32_embed and reinstalled everything using the Win32 libraries, ai gave it all correct, I believe the system was reading somewhere the wrong DLL, but for the record it worked with the Win32 DLL but the windows installed on the computer and x64, so for consciousness-raising I tested on another computer and two virtual machine and everything came out perfect.
