I wonder if you can see only the lines added and/or removed in visual studio, not git, in visual studio compare.

I would like to see only what has been removed/added, the code that has not been changed is dispensable (in yellow), so you could make a list of things that were changed much faster.

Although small commits are ideal to make, there are many changes to only one subject, so it makes no sense to commit several times, it would be unfeasible.

Daniel R, I found a tutorial, see if it helps you: 22 MAR, 2019 Use Git with the Visual Studio Code GUI and increase your productivity

I think you’ve already answered your own haha question. If you open your project that is being versioned by git in vscode, in the left pane there will be a button with the popular git fork icon, usually below the magnifying glass. There you can do all the most common operations like add, commit, diff... in a very simple way.

  • the problem is that the project is in tfs, not git. We prefer git and are using it in newer projects, but not in this.

I think it would be better to add this information and reformulate your question, anyway a quick search on google already gave me this tip here: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/48056972/how-to-connect-tfs-in-visual-studio-code

  • Do not have to reformulate, because this is not my problem, I did not mention studio code, I want visual studio, see in Visual Studio DIFF, I will put a print.
