In Visual Code, what you will achieve is to activate the Highlight syntax. Here is a plugin that does this:

Use the Visual studio:
To debug, you need to launch the application with the debugger attached to the application process. F5 (Debug > Start Debugging) is the most common way to do this. However, maybe you have not yet set breakpoints to examine your application code, so we will do this first and then start debugging.
