Versioning data recorded in Jenkins

Every setup I have on Jenkins today, as well as users, passwords, CI/CD settings and all the gadgets needed for my projects will be lost if I need to start a new Jenkins installation. How can I view this file structure for future Jenkins installations or even share it easily among the work team? Someone has a suggestion?

  • Do these plugins bkp Jenkins settings? Like configured credentials, installation rules, etc.

  • Yes. With thinBackup you can back up your settings (more 'lean') If you need to back up absolutely everything (JENKINS_HOME), use the Backup Plugin.
