I heard that term, Evergreen Browsers in an English lecture on the evolution of browsers etc., but I didn’t quite understand what this concept would be.

What would be a browser Evergreen or what is this philosophy? Does it also apply to system development? In an agile team it is possible to follow this practice, or am I traveling?

Would it have anything to do with or have anything to do with Progressive Enhancement (Progressive enhancement)?

Dude, I studied to help you and what I found was:

The term "Evergreen" refers to the launch strategy. Evergreen browsers are updated frequently in the background, constantly updating their compliance with Web standards and also adding proprietary features.

The version of a perennial browser, such as Microsoft Edge, has lost its importance, because an Evergreen browser is expected to run in the latest version.

In short, it seems that the point of "Evergreen browsers" is the constant update. Chrome, for example, if I’m not mistaken, has an upgrade schedule to not be obsolete.

I hope I helped you :D
