I’m trying to make a shortcut to paste something copied from the outside in Vim in normal mode but I’m not getting it:
nnoremap <C-S-p> i<C-S-v><ESC>

to insert system Clipboard text the vim command is "+p (double quotes, plus, p)...on Windows I also use Control-Ins to copy and Shift-Ins to paste...now, that Control-Shift-V there I don’t remember, I don’t think it works at all (unless there is some additional configuration in .vimrc)

  • thank you got it here. Actually Ctrl+Shift+V is why I use to paste into the linux terminal. But thank you very much
