Error trying to install Nodejs

  • Running the installer as administrator?

  • msi file, does not show the option to install as administrator. I used the Command Prompt in administrator mode and did the installation following a help in the Nodejs community that would serve to create the Log file, the file is created. but I, have no knowledge to identify the problem,

  • Right-click the installer and go to "Run as administrator"

At the time of installation disables the option Perfomance Counters and Event Tracing (ETW) and tries to install again. In some cases disabling Antivirus also solves.
