Good afternoon Personal.
I have a problem related to the backup and restoration of data from a Mysql database. I generated a backup of the data using mysqldump to format the pc and install a new operating system.
It turns out that now I’m trying to restore the data, but I’m not getting it. I’m using the Mysql console with the command {source arquivo.sql}, but does not restore. Nor error it gives.
What strikes me is that the file has data (the file size is 200MB), but when opening it by notepad, for example, nothing appears. It’s as if the file has only blank spaces. I can even select the blank spaces.
Someone’s been through something like this?
I don’t know if my explanation is clear..
