Good afternoon, you guys. I am installing Postgres and while trying to create the database by the command line interface, postgres me the following message inserir a descrição da imagem aqui

in case he’s not accepting any commands. In print I gave the following command: createdb -E SQL_ASCII -T template0 "bd name" "db user name"

I really don’t know what else to do. I’ve tried other versions of postgres 9.5 and the error remains. am trying Postgres 9.5 64 bits downloaded direct from Postgres website

*Edit: I had the same problem on 2 other computers with this version of 64-bit postgres. 32-bit version works without any problem. I thought it was incompatibility with windows, windows iso problem or something but these tests have been done. The funny thing is that we always use these executables and suddenly this problem started to occur. We thought it was virus infected file but we downloaded several executables from the postgres site and the error persists.

  • Couldn’t do this process by pgadmin? Since you are using Windows I believe you will have less problems.

  • I tried to open PG admin and it gives the following error message "Postgresql tools stopped working"

  • I did some procedure in my own database that already has postgresql working normally, and now any command that I insert by the command line interface, it gives this same message "invalid Binary "c:/program files/postgresql/9.5/bin/psql.exe "
