Problems using Selenium module with Firefox

I’m using:

  • Debian version 9.6
  • Python 2.7
  • Selenium 3.141.0
  • Firefox 60.3.0

I’m trying to learn how to use Selenium with Python but I haven’t been able to do anything yet. There is always some error, I was correcting as I find the solutions but in the latter I can not.

Code:

from selenium import webdriver
from selenium.webdriver.common.keys import Keys

driver = webdriver.Firefox()
driver.get("http://stackoverflow.com/")

body = driver.find_element_by_tag_name("body")
body.send_keys(Keys.CONTROL + 't')

driver.close()

Error:

    webdriver. Firefox(executable_path=path_geckodrive)

You forgot to put the webdriver path.

ex:

driver = webdriver. Firefox(C: Desktop Users New geckodriver.exe folder)

if you leave empty goes from the webdriver error. Firefox() <--- `
