Good morning Personal!

I have been studying the possibility of creating a web server with Raspberry pi 3 b+ and I came up with the question:

  • Considering that I will publish light websites (none of Ecommerce or Dashboard), will my customers suffer some kind of slowness ? *35 download and 3mb upload connection;

I intend to use this medium for the low electrical cost, since Raspberry consumes less q 4 watts and by the experience with the project

  • The speed of your connection will be split Connection/users.

  • but you think it would have some significant impact with even how many simultaneous accesses?

  • This depends on the power consumption of each one in speed. A person who has 40mb of traffic, for example, will consume your entire server. More assuming people who use 3g, 40 people will be able to access "WITHOUT MANY PROBLEMS". however for everything there is a solution more intelligent or less intelligent. You proclaim a network balance system. and divide your network well to number of customers.

  • Your transfer rate needs to be higher to not have too many Legs, pure html sites will flow better than systems in PHP, if bad programmed PHP will consume too much PI hardware, but if you still opt for systems in PHP or other programming language, Opt for the NGINX web server, it is more objective in its configurations, consequently consuming less hardware resources. Your question may be better answered if posted here --> https://raspberrypi.stackexchange.com

  • @Alessandroschneider Thank you very much for the indication! As it will not be a very dynamic and low traffic site, I think there will be no problems
