Notifications on Android stop after downtime in the app

We use both notifications from Onesignal as in the Firebase to notify our app service providers of new requests to be met in real time.

We noticed that it even happens that the app running with a service in foregroundto run even if the user or android kills the application, some push notifications are not received after a downtime in the app.

After the app opens, it still takes a while to receive new notifications. Any suggestions of what?

  • Hi @ramaral, I saw that some mobile phones, also limit the auto start of some apps, you have or know something about this?

  • Can you be more specific? How is the "auto start" done? If it is through a service the reason is (can be) the same.

  • see this https://onesignal.com/blog/manufacturers-interfere-with-reliable-notifications/

  • Yeah, so I put the "might be" and it’s not just.
