Is there a command line to change the font that is displayed in a cmd window? Just in this window? By changing properties menu it changes in general.

  • In the Windows 10, just change into properties. After doing this, just open a new terminal > configure the font to default and close. This way only one window will be changed.

  1. Click the Windows 10 search field and type cmd, click the result to open the Command Prompt;
  2. Right-click on the top bar of the Prompt and choose Properties option;
  3. In the Options tab you can customize the cursor size, command history, editing options and text selection;
  4. In the Font tab you can change the size of the font used and the default font;
  5. In Layout it is possible to change the screen buffer size, window size and position;
  6. Under Colors the user can change the text color on the screen, background screen, pop-up text, pop-up background screen and opacity of the chosen color.

Actually it will change for all windows, it is not possible to change only to a window, it is like Notepad++.

  • I understood, but I didn’t want to change them all, I wanted a command line that changed only in the current window, but thanks anyway.

  • It is unfortunately the way it needs will not get through Windows CMD =(
