replace the user-embedded external image with the new version of the local host

Good morning,

I am using a plugin called Image Teleporter, it takes all the images that the user will send as attachment and saves automatically in the wordpress library.

I would like to know how to upload the image that the user sent in attachment, by which is in the wordpress library.

The reason for this is to validate the image, since the user will not always send with a secure url.

The plugin in question is discontinued, so it no longer works.

However I use another plugin to do basically the same thing.

It saves images from posts and pages in the Wordpress media library.
