I’m trying to upload an app to the apple store using Xcode 8, but I get the message that it’s no longer possible to upload to the apple store using Xcode 8. From what I searched, it’s possible to upload apps using only version 9 or higher. Can anyone confirm that?

According to the documentation the version used to publish applications is always the latest version. Currently Xcode is in version 9.0 but is now available version 10.0 of Xcode. Which will be available with IOS 12.
