Good evening friends.
I have installed in a machine SERVER a system that uses SQL SERVER, the client machine is in another city, to connect the two in the same network we made a VPN using the own WIN 7.
The Client machine can not at all access the instance of SQL Server to run the system, the strange thing is that when I do connection test using some tool the connection with sql instance presents SUCCESS.
Testing the connection via ODBCAD32 error occurs 10060.
The firewall on both machines is down. Antivirus disabled. SSMS cleared for remote connection SQL Server Manager already configured and released with TCP protocol and port 1433
I don’t know what else to do, it seems that it does not accept to access the sql instance when using the . exe that opens the system.
Could you help me.
I thank you. Thank you.
This seems to be permissions problem.

Good afternoon. Client permission on VPN ? I’m researching haven’t found anything yet on how to give specific permission to the client at the instance door.

I was able to solve by redoing the VPN, and unchecking the option to take the default gateway.
