Talk guys, I downloaded Visual Studio 2019 with Xamarin to work on a project, but when I open a layout to work the screen comes all blank, objects are there but do not appear. Can someone help me?

You can try changing the theme where it says "Appcompat". However, if this doesn’t work, you probably created your layout wrong, because usually what it shows in the "Design" of a screen is what you will see in the application.

Thanks for the reply @Perozzo, I already changed the theme and nothing helped. And in this case I chose a pre-assembled app that already comes with example Xamarin. I also tried to create a new app in white and also with an existing one that I’m working on, but in the 2015 version of VS.

And when you run the application, the screen that is talking is shown normally or appears blank as well?

Yes, when the app runs everything works normally, the problem is ai in the same design.

How strange it is... If not even closing and opening again works, I suggest to give a Repair in the installation of VS.
