How to add banners in Joomla from internal modules without plugins?

I’m trying to add 3 banners to my Joomla blog, but I’m not getting what I want to do with the Joomla modules.I want the blog to have the image structure below.modelo que quero criar.

I don’t intend to use a third party module unless it is mandatory. Is it possible to do only with the internal Joomla modules ? How ? Somebody give me a hand, Please ?

Detail: I’m a beginner in Joomla.

This structure requires a template with side positions. You can try using Rockettheme’s Gantry. In this template you can use this structure without advanced knowledge of source code. http://gantry.org/

  • Hi Sneep. This templante/component I mentioned, Gantry, does not require source code knowledge. It is free and can be installed in Joomla. Once installed, the position of the modules can be configured exactly as Joshua’s question. As he commented that is beginner, would be a great alternative.

  • I understood, but if @Josué does not know how to set up joomla, make use of Gantry without any demonstration will leave him in the same situation that he already finds ( does not dominate the tool )
