Is there any way I can write in a text document (with write permissions for anonymous users) that is inside a server, using Javascript?

But my case applies to a file on a server

  • I also think it’s not duplicate, but it’s even more complicated than what was indicated. The short answer is "no, it doesn’t". What gives is for JS to call a service on a remote server that does what you want there, whether in PHP, CGI or qq other technology on the server.

  • @Bacco, that question there does not specify "server", but I even consider implicit; the Zuul guided the answer to the "person’s computer", but nothing prevents a new answer there; the two lines of this question only differ from that in "server" and "anonymous user".

  • @It’s one of those things that’s in a hazy area. But do not see this as a criticism to the closure, it is only really the fact that it does not solve the problem of OP for now. So much so that I didn’t even vote to reopen, because I think the comment I made kind of answers the question.

  • I would like to see more answers there on dup, a reward of some 10k+ user would be cool :P @Bacco

  • It would be nice if it was a user 20k+ (left to @mgibsonbr :D )

  • @admin_, published a new answer there in duplicate, now missing a solution with jQuery, but the web is full of examples of this, if by chance implement.
