I own a site about a certain subject. And, when I access Google and enter the desired term, there is my site in a good position.
However, I would like my website to be listed also on the Google news page.
I searched the term test, put on the Google News, and is here the listing.
My question is: Does Google put the site there? Or do you need some metas in HTML?

It already includes some sites in Google News, I can say that it takes some time to be approved, some more sites and others less. If you are using Wordpress, there are plugins intended to generate unique Sitemaps to the tool, this facilitates indexing of content correctly.
