How to disable conversion ";)" to emoji in Wordpress?

Inserted a content on a Wordpress page I put a ;) and he turned into emoji.

How can I fix this in Wordpress?

You can add the plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/emoji-settings/

and then in the settings remove the option Enable emoji support:

emoji settings

And click on Save Changes

Note: If you’re using Rocketcache or Supercache, which are back-end cache and optimization plugins for Wordpress, you may have to clean them up to upgrade, or wait.
