I installed osticket on a virtual machine with Ubuntu server 16.04, where everything is working properly. the language is in English as shown in the image: inserir a descrição da imagem aqui

Now I intend to change the language of osticket from English to Portuguese, someone knows how to do it?

  • Download the pack and extract or upload to the directory include/i18n

  • @Noobsaibot, can tell command lines to upload to directory?

You will need to download language pack. Go to page http://osticket.com/download, then select the Language Packages tab, and below you will get a listing with several translation packages.

Then just download the language pack and upload the file phar to the folder include/i18n your installation of osTicket.

To download you can use WGET, thus:

wget http://osticket.com/sites/default/files/download/lang/pt_BR.phar

or transfer the file to the folder on Linux, for this you can use Winscp, from which to view the folders on linux and transfer by windows.

  • I already downloaded, you can tell the command lines to upload to the include/i18n folder?

  • I edited the answer with an example

  • already downloaded, how do i upload to include/i18n folder?

  • tried with one of the 2 ways I quoted in the answer ?

  • made this way wget http://osticket.com/sites/default/files/download/lang/pt_BR.phar, but just this command line? This command line does not only download?

  • downloaded as shown above, now missing me the command line to upload the file phar to the folder include/i18n

  • inside the Osticket folder will have the include/i18n folder, put the file inside it. something like /var/www/htdocs/osticket/

  • or /var/www/vhosts/Domain.com/ticket.domain.com/include/
