Error while running main report - Jasper Studio

I am generating a report in Jasper Studio, where the main report has N sub reports, one of which has a connection to a database other than the main report.
When I run the main report in Jasper Studio the first time I get the following error:

Caused by: java.sql.SQLException: No suitable driver found for jdbc:postgresql://192.168.1.226:5432/BancoDados at java.sql.DriverManager.getConnection(Unknown Source) at java.sql.DriverManager.getConnection(Unknown Source) at gerenciamentoContratosTI_Master_1527160426610_582447.evaluate (gerenciamentoContratosTI_Master_1527160426610_582447:241) at net.sf.jasperreports.engine.fill.JREvaluator.evaluate(JREvaluator.java:250)

But if I go into this sub report and run it alone (which works normally) and then run again the main report works normally, someone knows what might be causing it?

Another thing I noticed is that sometimes if this error occurs and I try to run the same report again without changing anything the error does not occur again, however when I am trying to generate the report outside Jasper studio the error always occurs even running more than once.

    I will update my question with the report code @Macario1983, I had to put fewer lines because it reached the limit allowed by the stack

This appears to be a classpath error. The problem does not happen after the first run of the report because before running the report Jasper IDE compiles the files and puts the dependencies next to the compiled ones.

Use the tutorial of that link, from Jasper Soft itself, to reconfigure your connection within Jasper Soft IDE.

For your application, make sure that the connection jars of your database are in the application classpath and are also accessible to your application (web-inf/lib for example).

  • I’ve already added Jar’s to the classpath and apparently by the link you gave me I’ve already set up the connection in the Jasper Soft IDE. So much so that the error accuses the Postgresql driver that it is something that is configured natively in Jasper Studio. And I was surprised that if I run the sub-report before the main report works the main report from there, it’s ever happened to you?
