Wordpress with error 404

Question

I copied a folder from a wordpress site online and pasted it on my local server.

I backed up the database and updated my database to the original one. Connection ok.

However, when trying to access the site, it appears the theme page, but instead of the content, error 404 appears.

Any hint?

Italo, this must happen because the url in your local bank has the old address of the site.

Open the database backup in a text editor and do a search/replace to find all old url and replace it with your local url.
