Anaconda Python Installation - Pycharm Projects

I use Windows 10 and recently realized that my files and projects developed through IDE Pycharm, as well as the installation of the Anaconda package, are located in a folder in the directory containing spaces (C: Users Thiago Panini). I believe this appointment is causing me some problems that may be aggravated in the future. My failure in setting.

That said, I decided to create a new user on Windows with administrator privileges, only this time, no spaces. My question is: as there is already a (fairly vast) work done via Pycharm, what would be the appropriate way to import the projects created on the old user to the new user? After this import, would it be possible to delete the data from the old user? Is there any trauma in this migration?

Really the idea would be to migrate to this new user and discontinue the old one, given this configuration failure.

I even thought about creating a VM to organize the work from now on, but I don’t know if that would be valid.

Thank you very much. Thiago Panini

You can copy the Pycharmprojecs folder, and put it in the Pycharm directory in the new user.

You can also create a VM, and within it, paste the project folder.

Once to access them, you have to open the VM instance.
