Slider occupying more than 100vh

I have a problem, I added a slider to my header but it happens that it occupies more than the 100vh I gave, still occupies a little section below the header. Above that section he occupies I had a "before" which made appear a section divider, but that divider also does not appear...

By the way, can you tell me if I’m doing this section "splitter" the right way?

And by the way, while I’m at it, I’d also like to make a filter-like gradient effect over the slider images?

I would also like to change the animation of the transition, instead of being faded, I would like a Swipe left.

Html code:

Try putting zero value in the "slider’s margin and padding attributes":

note: assuming . slide_img is the slider.

.container .slide_img{
    position: absolute;
    width: 100%;
    height: 100vh;
    margin: 0px;
    padding: 0px;
}
.container .slide_img img{
    width: 100%;
    height: 100vh;
    margin: 0px;
    padding: 0px;
}

Already on the divisor got a little confused of what it comes about. I could not identify it in the code.
