Friend, answering your question: Yes you can have an email with subdomain. If you have contracted the services of a website hosting company, usually when hiring it comes with an "x" number of available subdomains (but this may vary from company to company), you can easily configure them in Cpanel (or some other domain manager that the hosting company has made available).
I suggest you contact the company that provides your domain hosting to ask for support for the subdomain configuration.
Now if you have configured everything on your own server, we need to know which service you use, for example: qmail, sendmail, postfix? In qmail simply add the desired domain to /var/qmail/control/rcpthosts
