SEO Subdomains and Redirects

I migrated from a site, which was in the base domain (dominio.com.br) and now this site has been separated into two subdomains (Sub1.dominio.com.br and sub2.dominio.com.br).

Because of this change we made a 301: dominio.com.br -> Sub1.dominio.com.br

Now Google does not recognize any "domain.com.br" SEO data, but subdomains are being ranked normally and appear normally in searches.

How do I display domain data (domain.com.br) for SEO with a redirect? Or I have to wait even for Sub1.dominio.com.br to take the place of domain.com.br in search results?

Just to be clear, the environment is a Multisite in Wordpress.

  • You can try to "force" the removal of the site look here https://support.google.com/webmasters/answer/93710?hl=pt-BR, search also on noindex and nofollow in addition to "User-agent: * Disallow: /" in robots.txt in domain.com.br

  • Good! I will try these solutions

Just to have a finish, and answer the question with the solution:

Yes, with time Sub1.dominio.com.br takes the place of the domain.com.br, and desindexar helps. So, faced with @hugocsl’s comment

Can you try to "force" the uninsurement of the site look here support.google.com/webmasters/Answer/93710? hl=en, search also on noindex and nofollow and put "User-agent: * Disallow: /" in robots.txt in domain.com.br

  • So it worked out there? Nice young man! Good luck with the project. I don’t know if it’s worth it, but sometimes via htacesses you can redirect everyone who tries to enter the old domain to the new, avoiding a 404 error or something like that. This part is not my specialty, but cool that solved one way or another
