Is there any method for calculating the delivery time of the ERI diagram? Objective: to provide the client an estimate of time to complete the DER diagram of a software development project with 114 tables (in this modeling there are two analysts Junior giving maintenance) relating according to business rule.

  • Dude, I think this goes more into project management right... Anyway, in this context, I would use PERT. You should question them for 3 deadlines. Optimistic, more likely and pessimistic. From there, you can do the Pert calculation and get an approximate idea of how long it will take to do this and anything else. I recommend...

  • The answer to this question is the most important asset of any company. This is calculated based on the history of efficiency of the company’s professionals, the level of knowledge and training of these professionals, the existence of clear methods established by the company etc. Finally, Knowing how long it takes you to do something depends on observing your company’s environmental factors. In many companies, professionals sign a confidentiality agreement that prohibits them from disclosing the effort to develop one point per function, for example.

  • If the tables already exist, then someone has already done the data modeling, because first it is modeled, independent of the database manager, and then the database is created (where the tables are etc).
