I have studied hard programming for Android in Java, being has me worried the issue of programming in Java and only gain a share of the market because the programs in Java does not run on Windows Phone, so I learned of Phonegap which is multiplatform can make games on IOS, Windows Phone and Android. and my goal is not to make games but corporate applications as for example a box control.

Most Phonegap courses are for training people to develop games and I wanted to know if learning to mess with Phonegap could also develop corporate programs?

No, Phonegap can produce any kind of app. The staff shows game for the sake of interest only, many people want to make mobile games.

Phonegap is a tool that allows you to use HTML and Javascript to produce cross-platform applications, so you can produce anything that can be done with HTML.

No, Phonegap (Adobe Project) as well as Cordova (Apache Project) are nothing more than development frameworks that allow you to package any application made with HTML, CSS and Javascript, in native format for distribution on any of the platforms supported by the project.

Another great advantage is to provide a series of functions to facilitate the development between the various devices for example a function to access the device’s camera in a unified way, regardless of which operating system is running on the device.

... with Phonegap could also develop corporate programs?

Answering the question, Yes, and you can choose to use it to package or if you will also use the functions to access the features of the device.

When performance this totally depends on what the app architecture is and which libraries you choose to develop your app from.

I advise installing Node, git ,ant, Cordova and creating a test project to get a sense of what the tool is capable of. Has many courses and online tutorials.

I’m sorry, but I can’t see your motivation to answer the question, the other answers already tell you basically what you said and with much more, you pretty much just commented something, did not answer anything, even more taking into account that the question is 2014, really would be more interesting and profitable for the community if you chose to detail on Phonegap. PS: Just for the record Phonegap IS NOT A FRAMEWORK, it is a "development kit", Cordova is the framework.
