Why can’t I create a tablespace?

I’m trying to create a tablespace on oracle 11g but I can’t get it to point out the error that is in this image:

I wanted to understand why I can’t create!

I can not simulate your mistake because it may be something of your infra, but I worked a time Oracle database and with the research I did found an article that is very close to what you are going through.

In the case of the article was lack of disk space, we must take into account that the operating system may be configured to allocate disk space to aid the RAM, is the virtual memory and depending on where you look that space that is allocated is not shown as "unavailable".

I believe that this is not because it is trying to create a tablespace of 1GB that is even very small, but it is what I can try to help you with the information that I have.

I don’t know if you are using but try to run sqlplus with the 'Administrator" prompt and use sys or system users by connecting as sysdba.
