Good afternoon, I’m doing a project where the company’s website is a synoptic and in this synoptic is generated images every 8 seconds. (Obs: I still need to know a way to take these images and move on to my project). What I have done so far is a test with any image, the program in html, java and php. First of all, when I put the image, I can take the data from that image and turn it into text. I, wanted to take only one area of this image and pick up this text, tried to use the "map" "area" with the coordinates I want.
Does the map> area tag interpret as an image? What could I do to get only "area" from the map? The tag area map only serves to move the mouse over? or to be able to click? would have another way?

Put the test code of what you have already done, in an area map you can set that area as clickable, put a link to another image of the sequence, belonging to that area.
