Format data(date sql type) with javascript without changing the type

Take a date field of type date yyyy-MM-dd (sql) use a javascript function directly in the XML file to show this date in dd-MM-yyyy format without changing the type, remaining Date.

It is possible?

  • I believe that everything is possible, but not everything is feasible. What would this file . mdx ? you want to connect in it via Javascript?

  • The file is in XML. Cube in Pentaho. XML SCHEMA :)

  • I have the date in date format which is what I need. It has to be in date format for the filters that will be applied. So the date is coming in American format. I believe that using Javascript when printing the date the date will be in date format, but with a mask... I need a mask that does not change the type. Because in SQL you can put the mask, but changes the type to String.
