Doubt about images in Latex

I want to insert an image from a directory. However the PDF does not show the text I put to find the image. What mistake am I making?

  • What text? And the image appears?

  • Appears [Scale = 0.2]{/Desktop/University/2017li1g013/report/Images/Haddock.png

  • @Joãosampaio, pdflatex? The path the image looks strange. Maybe something like /home/joaoSampaio/Desktop/Uni......../haddock.png or use a relative path. (try copying the image to the same folder and using only haddock.png)
