Configuration Wordpress Theme

Are you all right, programmers? People I bought a wordpress theme for a value of 200R$ The Hydro Theme.

The problem is that when I looked at it on themeforest it presented all nicely drawn neatly as the theme should be.

When I installed the theme, it only appears posts and is a theme that has nothing to do with what I bought at the beginning..

Anyone have any idea how to solve this? I’m a layperson at wordpress.

The theme is probably correct. The problem relates to which page layout is selected for the home page. wordpress has some layouts, such as:

  • front-page.php
  • index php.
  • page php.
  • single php.

But it may be that your theme has other layouts (own). So when you access the root of your site (http://www.seudominio.com) one of these layouts is displayed. So to solve the problem just go swapping the existing layouts until you find what you want. To do this (considering wordpress in English) go to the admin panel, then go to the Appearance menu -> customize -> Static Home page. At this point there will be a window with two radio Buttons (Show your recent posts and the other shows a static home page), then choose the second (static home page). Ai in the dropdown (select) below the radio group Buttons you choose which page will be shown as root (usually it’s home, start, or one that appears, just go changing).

In the documentation of wordpress there are more explanations on this subject.
