I have a problem when I perform an excel Bulk Insert for Sqlserver, I have a column called city and when I do the Bulk Insert and include the information in the database they lose the settings, example SÃO PAULO turns S+O PAULO, can anyone help me with this? Thanks in advance.

A few years ago I went through this, I think at the time I had solved converting the excel file to utf-8 or to utf-16 and making the Bulk in a table typing the text columns to nvarchar.
