I need to change the class of the database instance, because I use the "micro" and need to change to an instance with larger resources. My question is whether while changing, I lose my current database? This is a MS SQL Server database in production, so I can’t take the risk, someone can inform me?

You will not lose but as a guarantee, take a snapshot first. During the upgrade, you will have a period of instability and unavailability of the base.
A path without unavailability is to take the snapshot and from it create a new instance, which will replace the first.
