I have a system ready to go up to the Tomcat server, only that this system uses file uploads with base Catalina, and when I upload the system to the Tomcat server the file upload does not work, someone knows if it is necessary creates the folders where files get saved on the Tomcat server and how do I do this?
First check that the directory that is uploading the image actually exists. Then the user who uploaded the application (Tomcat) has write permission in this directory. It has run log?

thanks Diego, but I already got it, it was missing an access via ftp from Tomcat, with it I created the folder on the server and the application worked.
