As Google Search uses deep Learning in your searches, if you search for, for example, a poem, in google images, it will pick up an image that contains the poem (if there is).
Several websites, such as Thinker, use this feature to attract visitors. In Thinker.com, the image is visible, but the point is: Would "display: None" in the image have the same effect? I want it to appear in the Google Images search, but not on my rendered page. I thought I’d upload the image and set display: none
in it.
Is there a problem with that? It will continue to work the same way?
I believe this can be considered attempted fraud and can be penalized.

You shouldn’t just think about Google, you should think about the user first. If you think it’s important to have an image with a poem, put inside the page the possibility of the user being able to download this image or view, with this Google will index normally. Can you leave a
display:none
, but create a button to view this image or something similar.– Paulo
