Well, to be more specific, my problem with Codeigniter sessions started to occur after I switched my Xampp to a more current version (v.7...). When it comes to code/project I didn’t do if you want any changes, which could be?

What is the error shown?

Xampp itself does not interfere with the version, Xampp is a package of programs, what you have to inform is the version of PHP and the version of Codeigniter you are using, also enter the settings of PHP.INI’s Session.
