Connection redirection with proxy tunneling

I have two Ubuntu servers, one is in Brazil and the other in the US, in both I activated IP_FORWARD to be able to make a tunnel connection with them to the destination, well, I bought the two to do some ping tests, when I make the connection with the US server I get a little high ping, around ~250, and when I do with the Brazil server I get a little lower ping ~220, however I did some tests...

When I test my server ping from Brazil to my US server the ping is much smaller than the ping I pick up directly from my home to the US, and when I see the ping from my home to the brasul server the ping is also pretty low, I was thinking of tunneling to the server of Brazil > USA > Destination, however, I do not know how to take this connection that I will receive on the Brazilian server and redirect to the US.

Here comes the doubt, I do not know how to do this route, someone can help me or give me some idea or just tell if this is possible?

PS: I’m new to Linux and in the subject, I’m using this scheme to study more.

PS 2: I don’t know if the idea I had would be right or if I’m doing this tunnel wrong.

PS 3: The destination is in the USA, my server ping from there to the destination is 1.3 ms

  • from what I understand you want to connect your two VPS without involving DNS, this? If yes you can make a VPN between the two.
